Technical Support Manager

Full Job description:

My client based in the Rotherwas Industrial estate in Hereford is looking to recruit for a Technical Support Manager to work within their fast paced office. The client is a world leader in the manufacturing of catering equipment for over the last 60 years.

You will be based in the companies head office and will be responsible for the co-ordination of a nationwide team of sales and service experts, to ensure the smooth delivery, installation and on-going training as standard.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for a change from an engineering field based role into an office based role or a person who is doing a similar role who has a technical based background

Salary:

£30,000 – £40,000 Dependent on experience

Shifts:

Monday to Friday

0800– 1700 – Weekend/Out of hours support rota duties 1 in every 4 weeks, so a degree of flexibility is required

General duties:

• Assistance with the operation and development of internal CRM systems and field operations.
• General administration duties for the Service Support/Desk teams including
• outlook diary management, appointment booking, email, letter writing etc. as and when required.
• Responsibility for organising and providing specific equipment training to service partners.
• You will be expected as part of the role to generation of statistical reports and general duties within the department
• Supporting both the Account Manager and Department Head in the effective management of the companies Key Accounts, whilst also providing first line support for the Service Support & Service Desk across all business areas and daily management of specific key projects.

Experience:

• Candidate must have an engineering background – (Essential)
• F-Gas qualification – (Preferable)
• Come from a refrigeration skillset – (Preferable)
• Team Player
• A can do positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and great drive
• Good Computer Skills
