Responsible for handling payroll processes, maintaining accurate records and providing support to the HR department. Creating, storing and maintaining employee payroll records which details attendance expense sheets timesheets as well as hours employees work according to their pay grade. 

Manage end to end payroll processes including calculating wages, taxes and deductions.

Working with the Trust’s payroll provider on a daily basis to ensure the payroll transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Work with the HR department to maintain an update of employee records including new hires terminations and changes in salary or benefits.

Ensure all variances, absences, contract changes are input into the payroll portal.

Assist in ensuring timely distribution and authorisation of monthly payroll reports, checking pay against previous month and accounting for variances.

Generate payroll reports and analytics for management review.

Utilize excel spreadsheets and pivot tables to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies.

Promptly address employee enquiries related to payroll queries tax codes and benefits. •

Work with HR to ensure all employees who are under Maternity / Shared Maternity / Paternity pay and leave and that employees are being paid correctly.

Liaise with the HR department on all HR records and filing including archive material.
