A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join RE Recruitment in our Cheltenham Office as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant within the Professional Services team specilaising in Engineering recruitment working with some of the best companies in the UK.

RE Recruitment cover a number of different sectors and have recently topped the charts of The Recruiter much-revered FAST as the fastest-growing, privately-owned recruiter with a 71% growth rate.

This role will focus predominately on permanent recruitment within the Engineering sector and is an excellent opportunity to join a small but growing team. We are looking to appoint two driven and self-motivated individual, the successful applicants will have excellent rapport building skills with the ability to deliver outstanding levels of customer service.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering a superb starting salary and fantastic benefits with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme and flexible hybrid working. 

The desk is warm and will be building on accounts passed on that have been proven and consistent so will be a great opportunity for individuals hungry to develop their careers.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Engineering you will be expected to:

Have the ability to make daily outbound calls, to generate new business opportunities from both new and exisiting clients.

Develop both new and existing business though strong account management.

Deliver exceptional levels of customer service to candidates and clients.

Communicate with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.

Input data and information onto a CRM system.

Have a confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate clearly.

Successfully match a candidates skill set to a job role through telephone and face to face interviews.

Skills and attributes required to be a Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Engineering:

You will not be afraid to pick up the phone and make calls to a variety of levels of seniority

Knowledge/qualification/experience/interest within Engineering

Good work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to get the job done

Outgoing, self-motivated and friendly personality

Excellent organisational skills

The ability to think on your feet and multitask

IT Literate

Hungry to develop your career and progress
