Transport/ Customer Service administrator

Administrator/Advisor

Our client, the UK’s biggest manufacturer of timber goods, based in Hartlebury are looking for administrators to join their customer service/transport division, supporting a wide range of order processing activities, office dependent.

Salary:

£19,760 per year.

Hours

Monday- Friday 0830-1700.

Tasks:

  • Collecting orders to be processed from customer online portals.
  • Maintaining and updating order statuses within customer online portals.
  • Updating spreadsheets with accurate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial information.
  • Producing reports from various systems, as required.
  • Reconciling internal order banks with carriers’ systems.
  • Processing orders, collections, failed deliveries, and spare parts.
  • Providing customers with stock availability and order information.
  • Creating product labels and driver paperwork.
  • Liaising with customers and drivers, as well as general enquiries by email and telephone, as required.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Any other duty, as reasonably requested by Management.

Skills, Abilities and Behaviors:

  • Able to work with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and efficiency, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate with customers and internal departments, at all levels, in a professional, courteous manner, both face to face and by telephone or email.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of using Excel and Sage systems is desirable.
  • To act as a role model by demonstrating the company values and carrying out any other duties, as reasonably requested.
