Warehouse Assistant/Cleaner

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Assistant/Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse facilities. In addition to cleaning duties, you will be responsible for minor stock-taking tasks and providing support with labouring as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

•              Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse area, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.

•              Assist with stock taking and maintaining accurate records.

•              Support the team with laboring tasks such as loading and unloading shipments.

•              Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

•              Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

•              Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

•              Previous experience in a warehouse or cleaning role is preferred but not required.

•              Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•              Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.

•              Basic math skills for stock-taking tasks.

•              Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when required.

•              Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

•              Good communication skills.
