Warehouse Manager

Do you have experience within warehouse management and distribution? Are you looking for a hands on role? You will be providing the necessary day to day support to the Operations Manager and overseeing all distribution functions. Working Monday – Friday 09:00am – 18:30 with a starting salary of £40,000 – £45,000 this is an excellent opportunity not to be missed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To oversee the goods In process. Receiving incoming deliveries and ability to highlight any discrepancies/defects with the products. 
• To oversee the scheduling of orders, processing, picking and packing of orders and updating of computer systems for highest efficiencies.
• Manage the processing, picking and packing of orders for goods out process having overall responsibility for the daily operation.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety controls are maintained, and inspections carried out and reported.
• Manage the warehouse operation ensuring that all despatches and our own transport vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the Distribution Centre’s key operational activities, generate and implement solutions for improvement where necessary.
• To assist in the regular reporting and analysis of key performance indicators to the Operations Manager.

Skills and Attributes:

• Previous warehouse management experience.
• Experience working with multi sized products.
• Actively participate in the Health and Safety requirements within the company.
• Be flexible in approach, prioritise workload and respond to crisis to ensure the necessary provisions are maintained.
