Warehouse Operative

Roles and Responsibilities of a warehouse operative:

• Making sure new products are ready for despatch
• Movement of incoming stock from suppliers using manual and mechanical operations
• General maintenance on monitoring equipment returned for annual service and/or repair, and calibration.
• To ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
• General warehouse duties including tidying, recycling of packaging etc.

Skills and Attributes of a warehouse operative:

• Counter forklift license is essential.
• Previous experience/ enjoyment building things.
• Warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy customer products.
• Self-Motivated, disciplined & positively contributes to the team, creating a ‘Great place to work.
