The right candidate will need:
Good eye for detail
Reporting to the QC Manager
As a warehouse operative within QC, your responsibilities can be quite widespread depending on which sector of the department you are tasked with. You could be inspecting items returned by our customers that have been reported as faulty, you could be assisting with 100% checks on items received from suppliers, that have historically had problem batches, or you could be assisting with repair/repack of items that have been returned by customers unfit for re-sale.
A warehouse operative is expected to:
Work in a safe and considerate way, to prevent causing injury to others and/or damage to company property
Work to deadlines
Work as efficiently as possible
Can work on their own or as part of a team
Taking care of company equipment such as daily checks on MHE, reporting issues with MHE and placing them on charge at the end of shift.
Complete any reasonable tasks requested by any member of management as and when required
General housekeeping – clearing the work areas in prep for the next shift
Reporting any accidents and/or incidents to management immediately
May be required to assist other departments to cover annual leave or absences
Undergo any training required to carry out daily tasks, such as MHE training, manual handling training and banksman training.
