Warehouse/Stores Operative

RE Recruitment are recruiting Warehouse/Stores Operatives to work for a leading manufacturer based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.

This exciting opportunity offers consistent full-time hours on an ongoing assignment (subject to performance and attendance) with a realistic opportunity to extend this into a long-term career with an internationally recognised company.

Immediate starts available.

Previous stores/warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. 

Daily key responsibilities will involve:

• Working closely with Goods In/Goods out process in the Plant
• Stock take/regular spot checks on component volumes
• Movement of palletised goods/boxes/trays of products and breaking down according to requirement
• Accuracy with supply of components to the production areas
• Manual handling of boxes up to 25kg
• Additional responsibilities can be trained for use of equipment, but previous experience with Counterbalance FLT or Tugger Operating is beneficial 

Hours – Basic hours: 40 hours per week (rotating shifts)

Pay – Starting pay rate: £11.46 p/h + OT £14.25 p/h and Sunday OT £119.00 p/h 

Shifts – Our client operates on a “3-shift rota” which will rotate every 2 weeks. This will incorporate Morning, Afternoon, & Night shifts (example below)

Transport -Due to start times on these rotations, having access to own transport is essential as public transport sadly will not arrive for some shift times. 

Example Shift rota

8-hour rotating shift pattern covering Nights, Afternoons and Mornings (10pm-6am, 2pm-10pm and 6am-2pm). 

• 2 weeks        Sun – Thu (10pm-6am)
• 2 weeks        Mon – Fri (2pm-10pm)
• 2 weeks        Mon – Fri (6am-2pm)
