Accounts Assistant

We are delighted to be supporting this growing manufacturing business to recruit an Accounts Assistant/ Purchase Ledger/ Treasury candidate.

This role is joining a close-knit finance team, reporting into the Finance Manager.  Working within a close knit and friendly team.

This role will pick up the full Purchase Ledger duties but will also support with Treasury duties.

Duties will include:

• Matching invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders
• Complete purchase process
• Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
• Check and reconcile supplier statements
• File invoices and statements
• Deal with purchase enquiries
• Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary

Required Skills & Experience:

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Solid team working skills
• Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
• Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong system knowledge
