A truly exceptional opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join an award-winning Recruitment Agency. This is a brand-new exciting role to the business, and we are on the lookout for a talented, entrepreneurial, strategic, Business Development Executive to be part of our On-Site Services Team, who recrut within the Industrial market. The successful applicant will ideally have B2B sales experience and will be directly reporting into our Head of On-Site Services. Offering a superb starting salary of £21k, plus bonus and fantastic benefits. This is a full-time permanent position, Cheltenham.

 

THE ROLE AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE:

  • Obtain and Identify Potential Onsite Opportunities – identifying and gaining tender or proposals within the target market as defined by the Head of Onsite Services and Board of Directors.
  • Establish Contact and Build Relationships – with target clients using various means of communication. This will require a full portfolio of approach methods including, social media interaction, targeted door knocking, some direct calling.
  • Develop Personal and Business Branding to take an active part in all areas of marketing (such as social media activity) to build networks and increase the visibility of all areas of RE Recruitment in our target markets.
  • Develop Business Intelligence through communication to build a comprehensive portfolio of information that will enable greater success during tender and proposal processes.
  • Territory Mapping – understanding current onsite locations and regional opportunities to increase RE footprint.
  • Competitor Analysis – continually monitor other suppliers in our marketplace to understand SWOT and key accounts.
  • Tender Diary Management– updating internal systems with the relevant information obtained during the above activities.
  • Tender Process Involvement – to be involved in the relevant stages of the tender process as directed by the Head of Onsite Services.
  • Recruitment – To support all areas of recruitment as required from time to time.

 

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • B2B sales experience.
  • Cold calling – You will not be afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Social media experience.
  • Strategic and hands on approach.
  • Excellent rapport building skills.
  • Account management.
  • Recruitment – desirable
