My client are looking for a credit controller to work within their finance team for maternity cover. You will be part of a small and friendly accounts team working within a busy accounts department.
The role will involve:
-Chasing outstanding invoices via telephone and email within agreed timescales
-Taking ownership of the accounts portfolio and ensuring resolutions are quickly resolved
-Building strong working relationships with customers to ensure they pay on time
-Communicating across the various departments to resolve any queries
-Opening new customer accounts and inputting payments received
-Additional finance duties as delegated from the finance team
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
-Previous credit control experience
-Experience working within a busy accounts department
-Good understanding of Excel and office systems, Sage experience is advantageous
-A proactive approach to work with ability to communicate at all levels
