Order Fulfillment Manager (Maternity cover)
My client is a leading manufacturer in their field. This role has the ability for hybrid working.
This role is fundamental in ensuring the flow of customer orders from point of receipt through to dispatch of products. Proactive communication is essential with both Planning and Distribution departments to ensure limited disruption to our customers. Strong relationships are required, both internally with multiple departments, but also with our global customer base, to ensure the smooth delivery of orders and excellent customer service.
To supervise and provide leadership to all personnel involved in the Order Fulfilment function and continual improvements are made to enhance both our business growth and customer expectations.
Order Fulfillment Manager (Maternity cover) Key Responsibilities
Manage the Customer Account Team and lead them to continually improve the customer journey
Oversee processes and systems in the department to ensure relevant systems supporting customer order requirements
Liaise with department managers to create robust procedures to ensure minimal impact to customer orders
Manage capacity and efficiency resources whilst ensuring customer SLA’s are not affected
Ensure proactive customer communications are always the focus of the team
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPI’s) and reporting to the business on our position
Order Fulfillment Manager (Maternity cover) Required Experience
Previous leadership and management experience in customer service role – minimum of 2 years
Experience with ERP and CRM systems
Proven experience with strategic planning and ability to see the bigger picture and identify areas of impact
Order Fulfillment Manager (Maternity cover) Knowledge
Ability to interpret and process customer forecast and order schedules
Experience of EDI and relevant systems
Experience with leading a team and empowering others to do better
Experience with delegation of tasks to ensure contingency throughout the department
