Global Project Manager – Smart Factory – Key Responsibilities
The Smart Factory team’s objective is to identify, develop and deploy ‘future state’ capabilities that deliver performance gains through the value chain.
As a key associate within the team, you will have the opportunity to positively influence and support the alignment of the Smart Factory technical and business strategies across the 70+ plants within the network.
If you are self-motivated, open for new opportunities and have a personality that enables you to be a mentor/coach as well as maintaining solid technical and practical skills then this role could be for you.
What you’ll do
– Provide a leading role in the strategy, implementation, standardization, documentation and maintenance of “best practices” around OT connectivity
– Work closely with customers to bridge knowledge gaps and become a trusted partner
– Setup and coordinate training events to develop our associates and provide them the required skills to support Smart Factory implementations
– Support engineering and technical reviews to guide consistency and standards alignment
– Drive R&D initiatives to ensure the company is ‘future ready’ and leading in knowledge and deployment of technology
Global Project Manager – Smart Factory – Requirements
– Excellent OT technical knowledge and electrical/control design capability
– Knowledge of PLC programming across multiple platforms
– Good attention to detail
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
– Possess a positive, can-do attitude
– Ability to mentor/coach and share knowledge effectively
