The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing the Information Technology Systems to ensure service delivery meets exceeds customer expectations and KPI’s. You will be confident with great written and verbal communication skills and an excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate will also work with our external IT suppliers and will be responsible for providing technical assistance to support all aspects of our business, over the telephone, face-to-face or via email.

  • Support and develop the IT Helpdesk
  • Gain understanding of the ERP and CRM system’s and to support local issues. Be responsible for following up resolution within the IT support teams if required.
  • Work with the IT team to ensure that the company IT Service Delivery meets and exceeds customer expectation and business KPI’s.
  • Ownership and accountability for technical and support tasks assigned to you as an individual from initial request through to conclusion.
  • Actively record, report and raise incidents and problem tickets where applicable when issues and faults are identified as part of daily checks and active systems monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, testing, changes and corrections, monitor performance of programs after implementation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience of working within an IT service desk environment.
  • This is a hands on role where interaction wit users across all 3 business sites, therefore own transport and travel may be required when necessary
  • Aptitude for data analysis, including some experience with ERP and CRM packages.
  • Willing to support IT users in both hardware and software issues.
  • Strong technical, analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexible to support out of hours IT problems that may occur from time to time.

Desirable Skills

  • Good working knowledge of one or more programming languages for desktop and web applications.
  • Understanding of Office 365 including SharePoint.
  • Server maintenance and support.
  • Windows 10, Active Directory, Azure Group Policy, Desktop Support.
  • TCP/IP, Routers, VPN, Firewalls, VLAN, DHCP, IP, Telephony.
  • Understanding of domain management and DNS.
