RE Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators to join our client based in Stonehouse.

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are seeking new talent to join our client’s experienced production team in the manufacture and development of their product range.

Successful applicants will be flexible and be able to adapt to the variety of roles within their area.

Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as full operator training will be provided. 

Hours – Basic hours: 40 hours per week (rotating shifts)

Pay – Starting pay rate: £10.75/h + OT £13.37/h and Sunday OT £17.82/h

Bonus – Our “Monthly Milestone” Bonus is £75 per month, and eligibility applies from the start of your placement providing terms and conditions are met.  (Subject to 100% attendance of planned rota, and diligent timekeeping – for further T&C’s please speak to us)

Shifts – Our client operates on a “3-shift rota” which will rotate every 2 weeks. This will incorporate Night, Afternoon, & Morning shifts (example below)

Transport – Due to start times on these rotations, having access to own transport is essential as public transport sadly will not arrive for some shift times.

Daily key responsibilities will involve:

• Operating/minding machines
• Working by hand to assemble small components
• Checking and testing finished products
• Excellent attention to detail
• To be punctual and reliable
• Adapting to repetitive work with small parts
• The ability to working to a plan to achieve forecast production levels
• Adherence to health & safety policies

Example Shift rota

8-hour rotating shift pattern covering Nights, Afternoons and Mornings (10pm-6am, 2pm-10pm and 6am-2pm). 

• 2 weeks               Sun – Thu (10pm-6am)
• 2 weeks               Mon – Fri (2pm-10pm)
• 2 weeks               Mon – Fri (6am-2pm)
