Warehouse/Stores Operative – Material Supply

Cheltenham – Twilight (PART TIME – 20 hours per week)

RE Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse/Stores operative to join the Material Supply Team at our client in Cheltenham.

Our client is a market leading manufacturer, with an excellent reputation for development opportunities, whilst working in an engaging environment.

The role is based in their material supply team where a dedicated team monitor and maintain key component supply to the assembly lines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintaining stock levels and supply to the assembly lines to ensure productivity is maximised.
• Cross checking part numbers and area codes to ensure the correct products are delivered to the correct areas.
• Safely handling components and finished products in line with Manual Handling policies
• Using good initiative to identify problems and solve before they have an impact on the production team.
• Flexibility to assist your team in additional areas when workload requires.
• Work closely with the whole of production to ensure 5S standards are achieved.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working at speed with high levels of accuracy. You will have a “can do” attitude and be able to adapt and assist using your own initiative.

Full training to be provided, but a background in stores, material supply or warehousing is desirable.

Working schedule

TWILIGHT Shift –   Monday to Thursday – 1630 – 2130,  20 hours per week,

Pay rate –                 £10.03 – £11.06p/h (+OT)

Pay frequency –     Weekly Pay
