An exciting opportunity has become available for a payroll Manager to join a global business in a varied payroll position also assisting with some exciting upcoming projects for an 18 month fixed term contract.

The Payroll manager plays a key role and is responsible for the maintenance and provision of accurate, efficient and timely Payroll activities & HR Support coupled with supporting payroll projects.

THE ROLE

Payroll Administration & Queries – Process knowledge of weekly and monthly UK processes. Ensuring accurate and timely end to end processing and reconciliation of monthly/four weekly payrolls, in compliance with legislative and internal processes. Ensuring payroll deadlines are met in conjunction with service level agreements and BACS are processed within the agreed deadlines.

Data Analysis & Reporting – Creation and distribution of reports as required using HR/Payroll and other internal systems, presenting data in a format that is clear and accurate.

Payroll Project Implementation Support– Supporting in existing and new projects, including payroll automation, HR Service Delivery Platform Project (Paperless HR) for different group stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits Data – Support & backup with maintenance and control of C&B Data, People Core, SharePoint Access and Workflows.

You will act as a point of contact for internal customers for HR IT related queries.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Ability to run weekly/monthly UK Payrolls
  • Experienced payroll processor
  • Experience in Pension and benefits administration
  • Good knowledge of reporting
  • Be comfortable giving support to extended HR Team, Managers, Employees, liaising with system personnel/IT
  • Experienced IT user – Advanced Excel, Office 365, including SQL Scripts, Macros and Formulas
  • Ideally have experience in HR Project implementation and data migration
