Senior Trading Executive – Marketing
I am looking to recruit a Senior Trading Executive to join a market leading ecommerce business based in Herefordshire. You will ultimately be responsible for the coordination of new product launches.
About The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, analytical and strategic thinker who will assist in the coordination of product launches. To meet campaign dates and manage the Weekly Trading Plan to deliver the best messages to our customers at the right time.
Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and coordinating product launches with internal departments. Ensuring they are prioritised and meet deadlines with the required offer for the campaign. Being reactive to current performance and conditions will be vital to delivering successfully.
Communicating timing and requirements for stock launches cross teams, highlighting issues that arise and amending dates should it be necessary.
Managing Weekly Trading Plan making decisions to deliver the key messages within each week, being reactive to change and suggesting new ideas.
Pulling out highlights from within deals reviewing investment, commercial relevance and previous successes within channels in order to deliver the most relevant messages.
Reviewing campaign performance, monitoring successes and failures, learning from these in future campaigns and making suggestions for the trading plan.
Maintaining strong relationships with internal teams on a daily basis, seeking new opportunities and making suggestions to improve existing campaigns.
Keeping up to date with market trends and making recommendations based on your findings that could be applied to our trading plan and approach.
Compiling and interpreting monthly reports for international countries covering strengths, weaknesses and areas of concern.
Hours of work:
9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday. Homeworking opportunities are available and can be discussed further at the interview stage.
To be considered you will need:
Proven experience in an eCommerce role
Strategic understanding and ability to coordinate with multiple teams
Ability to work collaboratively and delivery plans and activities set
A keen interest and good understanding of online retail
Ability to communicate well at all levels (both written and verbal)
Assertive, confident, and able to challenge established ways of working
Proactive, organised, and able to work under pressure using own initiative
Degree level qualification in Marketing or Business.
