We're recruiting on behalf of a successful, well-established retail business in Cheltenham that prides itself on outstanding customer service, quality products and a friendly, supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader looking to take the next step or continue their retail management career.

This is a 12 Month FTC with an immediate start available.

What you'll be doing as an Assistant Showroom Manager

You'll support the Showroom Manager with the day-to-day running of the showroom, ensuring every customer receives an excellent shopping experience while helping the team achieve sales targets.

Your role will include:

• Supporting the Showroom Manager and leading the showroom in their absence
• Driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service
• Coaching, motivating and supporting a team of 5-6 colleagues
• Managing customer orders, appointments, deliveries and payments
• Helping with rotas, training and team performance
• Maintaining excellent showroom presentation and stock control

What we're looking for in the Assistant Showroom Manager

You'll ideally have:

• Retail management, assistant management or supervisory experience
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• A proactive, sales-focused approach
• Experience leading, motivating or coaching a retail team
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence working in a busy customer-facing environment
