Customer Service / Account Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service / Account Manager to join a busy and friendly team within an established packaging solutions company.
This is a varied role where you will be responsible for managing customer orders, developing strong customer relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction from enquiry through to delivery.

The Role
·Manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to completion
·Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and regular updates
·Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
·Process orders accurately and ensure all customer requirements are met
·Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth order progression
·Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues or queries promptly
·Maintain accurate customer and order records
·Produce reports and use Excel to analyse and manage customer/order information
·Use Sage for order processing and customer administration
·Manage changing priorities within a busy working environment
·Identify opportunities to improve customer service and support business growth

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
·At least 3 years' experience in customer service, account management or a similar role
·Strong communication and relationship-building skills
·Excellent organisational and administration skills
·Strong Excel skills - this is essential
·Good working knowledge of Sage
·Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
·The ability to manage multiple orders and priorities effectively
·A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach
·Experience working in a fast-paced environment
·A clean UK driving licence is preferred due to location
