Description

Our client, a successful and well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Evesham, is looking to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to join their busy Purchasing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, supply chain or logistics who is looking to further develop their career within a growing manufacturing business. You'll become part of a supportive team where you'll play a key role in ensuring materials, products and services are purchased efficiently to support production and day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities of a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator:


  • Raise and process purchase orders for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Manage the procurement of indirect items including office supplies, PPE, IT equipment, software licences and general consumables.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain order acknowledgements, monitor delivery schedules and resolve routine supply issues.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records, purchasing documentation and ERP system data (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Assist with stock investigations, purchasing administration and departmental KPI reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance purchasing processes and efficiencies.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure purchasing activities meet business requirements.

About the Successful Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator:


  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, supply chain, logistics or a similar coordination or administration role.
  • Previous experience within a purchasing, procurement, buying or supply chain environment.
  • Strong IT & Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Experience within manufacturing or engineering would be advantageous but is not essential.
