Accounts Assistant

My client based in Cheltenham are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the ever growing team. With plenty of opportunity for growth and a chance to join an established company this is a fantastic opportunity. You will be AAT qualified or part qualified. Working Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00pm with a salary of £20,000 – £25,000 this is a brilliant position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with bank reconciliations, cash allocation
• Day-to-day bookkeeping
• Reviewing and Submitting VAT returns
• Preparation of management accounts
• Year-end accounts preparation for corporate and sole trader businesses
• Supplier payment runs.
• Sales and purchase ledger invoicing.
• Dealing with supplier & customer queries

Skills and Attributes:

• AAT Qualified.
• GCSE qualifies in English and Maths
• Ability to use Excel – Formulating, Vlookup etc.
• Ability to work as an individual and in a team.
• Able to follow a process.
