Richard East

Chairman and Founder, RE Group, Management

As Group Chairman, Richard uses his extensive experience as a recruiter to provide strategic oversight to the business – constantly looking for new opportunities to broaden the appeal of the Group and sourcing new talent to help drive the business forward, whilst promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.

Away from the company he loves, Richard enjoys spending time walking his dogs in the Cotswolds and attending sporting events, including rugby and horse racing.

James Gibbs

Group Managing Director, RE Group, Management

James joined RE back in 2005 and quickly established his reputation as an innovator and problem solver. Widely known for his expert market knowledge across a wide range of sectors, we can confidently say he works harder than anyone else to solve long term recruitment challenges for our clients. As Group Managing Director, James is responsible for ensuring recruitment best practice and optimising operational excellence across the RE Group, providing oversight and strategic direction for both our sales teams and network of branch offices. Away from the business James can be found spending quality time with his family, training for his next marathon or following his passion for horse racing. And not necessarily in that order.

Katie Armstrong

Managing Director, Safehands Recruitment, Management

With over 10 years’ specialist experience in the healthcare and recruitment industry, Katie has established Safehands Recruitment as a go-to provider of skilled and dedicated professionals for a range of healthcare settings. Katie’s focus is on ensuring Safehands delivers the best service to its clients, with a company culture based on excellence and enthusiasm, and with people always at the heart of its success. In her spare time, Katie can often be found out on her farm exercising her horses or walking the dogs.

Emilia Trzcinka

Compliance Manager (AICA), Management

With an Advance Certificate in Business Compliance, Emilia heads up the compliance team that supports RE Recruitment & Safehands Recruitment. Emilia has extensive knowledge and official training on the GLAA Licensing Standards by ALP, Tackling Modern Slavery in UK businesses by Stronger Together, as well as Investigative Interviewing Skills by GLAA representatives. Emilia’s experience is also backed by a BTEC L3 Diploma in Business and Administration, Bachelor degree in Marketing and Management and Masters in General Management. In her spare time, Emilia likes to read crime books and runs regularly.

Mark Norton

Head of on-site services, Management

Mark has over 16 years’ experience in the recruitment sector and has gained knowledge and expertise in multiple recruitment disciplines during this time. Mark is a highly proficient leader in developing and delivering high volume on-site recruitment programmes with a particular focus on continuous improvement and reducing cost associated with ineffective delivery within High Volume environments. During his time relaxing, Mark can be found exploring the UK countryside with his family and springer spaniel, playing hockey, or alternatively on top of a paddle-board or a road bike.

James Smith

Head of Branch Operations, Management

James manages the branch operations network which covers Cheltenham, Hereford, Worcester and Telford. The branch operations teams across his network, specialise in supplying bespoke recruitment solutions in Industrial & Warehousing, Transport & Logistics, Food & Agricultural and Catering & Hospitality sectors.<br> With over 6 years’ experience James prides himself on delivering an honest and personable service with all the customers across the network which filters down to his operational team.

Chris has been with RE for 5 years and is passionate about changing the face of recruitment and driving a high quality service as an extension of his clients businesses. With a drive to succeed and a good knowledge of both contract and permanent recruitment, nothing makes Chris happier than seeing his candidates succeed in their new roles. Whilst heading up a team in the professional services division at RE, Chris is enthusiastic about Continuous Personal Development and is currently completing his MBA at the University of Gloucestershire. Outside of work Chris likes any sport both partaking and spectating and likes challenging himself and placing himself outside of his comfort zone.
