Cafe/Front Of House Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independently owned all-day café located in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds. Set in a beautifully restored space that blends rustic charm with modern hospitality, this café is known for its quality food, welcoming atmosphere, and strong community ties.

Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Café Manager to lead the front-of-house team and oversee day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead service with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming and vibrant environment for both guests and staff.
• Manage daily operations including rotas, stock control, supplier orders, and opening/closing procedures.
• Provide structure, support, and training to a small front-of-house team, fostering a collaborative and motivated culture.
• Maintain consistently high standards across food, drink, cleanliness, and customer experience.
• Work closely with the business owners to share feedback, identify improvements, and contribute to the café’s continued growth.
• Be a hands-on presence on the floor, ready to jump in wherever needed.

About You

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a hospitality setting.
• Calm, positive, and well-organised, with a natural flair for leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• A strong team player who takes pride in their work and leads by example.
• Must have a full UK driving licence due to the rural location.
