Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent Position 

We’re working with a leading precision engineering manufacturer in Tewkesbury who are looking for a CNC & Manual Machinist to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist with CNC and manual machining skills to work on components in a clean, well-equipped workshop.

The Role:
You’ll be setting up, operating, and maintaining both CNC and manual machines, ensuring the accuracy and quality of components to tight tolerances. You’ll interpret technical drawings, troubleshoot machinery issues, perform quality inspections, and work closely with engineers to optimise processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to technical drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for quality and efficiency
• Carry out routine maintenance on machinery and tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine/tooling issues

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a machinist (CNC & manual)
• Skilled in using callipers, micrometres, and dial indicators
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Committed to safety and quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
