Stroud–Permanent – Fulltime– Evening shift 3pm to 1am – Salary DOE +35% Shift allowance 

My client Is looking for CNC Millers that can set and operate CNC milling machines in a production environment, ensuring the top quality within given timescale. For the right candidate an opportunity to become the shift team leader a few months with an additional pay reward.

The role:

• Set and operate CNC machines using set up sheets, selecting tooling. (Mills)
• Self-inspect, including quality, cleaning, and de-burring.
• Create and edit Machining programs (on machine) – Fanuc controls
• Confidently interpret technical specifications and drawings
• Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.
• Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.

The Person:

• Motivated, highly organised CNC machinist.
• Experience working with Fanuc controlled CNC Machinery – 4 years desirable
• Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including verniers, callipers.
• Experience in production machining environment.
• Computer literate, good numeracy, and literacy skills.
