Gloucester– Days – Permanent – Fulltime- Salary up to £18ph

Our client Is looking for CNC Turner that can program, set and operate CNC Lathes in a precision machining environment, ensuring the top quality within given timescale.

The role:

• Program, Set and operate Fanuc controls in a precision machining environment.
• Offline programming with OneCNC
• Interpret technical specifications
• Self-inspect, including quality, cleaning, and de-burring.
• Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.
• Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.
• Always looking at decreasing run times and decreased down times through good set ups and enablement coupled with personal motivation.
• Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.

The Person:

• Motivated, highly organised CNC machinist.
• Manual machining experience advantage
• CNC Milling experience – advantage
• Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including micrometres, verniers, callipers, gauges and CMM.
• Experience in sub-contract machining environment.
• Experienced working with a variety of materials
• Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
• Positive attitude and good time keeping
• Computer literate, good numeracy, and literacy skills.
