Finance Assistant

Bespoke, luxury travel company are looking for a Part-time Finance Assistant for their busy Cheltenham office.

The role is Part-time – 30 hours a week and can be spread over 4/5 days.

The company are looking for a dynamic, focused, and knowledgeable candidate that is looking to join an experienced team.

You will be part of a small team accounting for all the financial transactions of the company. You will be responsible for processing all the transactions relating to our clients’ holidays. This starts with ensuring that all receipts from our clients posted on our booking system agree to the bank entries. You will make payments to our suppliers, both in the UK and elsewhere in the world and accurately record all the transactions on Sage.

Post-trip, you will ensure that all the payments made match the amounts on our bookings system, investigating any differences and accruing for all payments still to be made. Other duties include weekly reporting to the Directors of the previous weeks’ sales, bank reconciliations and currency requirements forecasting. You will have the opportunity to gain experience across all facets of the finance function including assisting the production of the monthly management accounts and payroll.
