Stroud – Permanent – Fulltime- 7:30-16:00, early finish Friday- Salary DOE

My client Is looking for a Machining Technician – Milling that can support the milling section, providing first line programming and engineering support.

The role:

• Write and modify programs for CNC machinery
• Actively support NPI process and service
• Work collaboratively with Manufacturing Engineers and Operators, providing technical support
• Support ongoing continuous improvement activities
• Supporting a strong safety culture
• Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.

The Person:

• Motivated, highly organised CNC Miller with at least three years‘ experience
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate – Microsoft Office and Manufacturing systems
• Experience working with Fanuc controlled CNC Machinery
• CNC Turning Experience (Desirable)
• Siemens and Heidenhain controls (Desirable)
• CAD/CAM– Hypermill(Desirable)
