Hours: Monday to Thursday

6:00am – 4:00pm or    7:00am – 5:00pm

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Masker to join our production team in Gloucester. Working in a fast-paced and precision-focused environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing components for painting and finishing by carefully masking designated areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring a high-quality final product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply masking materials (tape, film, plugs, etc.) accurately to parts and components to protect specified areas during the painting or coating process
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications
• Inspect parts prior to masking to ensure they meet quality standards
• Remove masking materials after painting, checking for clean lines and correct application
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Communicate any issues or defects to supervisors promptly
• Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in masking, painting, or similar prep work in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or instructions
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to follow strict safety and quality procedures
