A fantastic opportunity has become available for a committed professional to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business in the renewable energy sector, as an Operations Manager. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing support to the CEO of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join an exceptional business that has tapped into a very lucrative market (Energy Storage Solutions) with very exciting growth potential.

Role Responsibilities

• Drive positive health, safety and wellbeing culture
• Direct management and leadership of operations teams 
• Collaborate effectively with all colleagues on a day-to-day basis to achieve results
• Facilitate and enable an environment of collaboration and championing others’ ideas by listening and removing barriers where necessary
• Manufacture battery systems to a high level of quality
• Support the Quality and Safety department with the continuation of their ISO9001 certification
• Ensure on time delivery to customers
• Seek opportunities to reduce costs in both product and manufacturing time and components
• Manage relationships with other functional leaders and colleagues
• Manage relationships with key customers
• Keep clear and updated records
• Working with other internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for the business

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Operational Management experience and experience at delivering operational KPI’s 
• Manufacturing experience
• An experienced people manager 
• Experience with manufacturing or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems 
• Working with Excel, and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including effective listening skills 
• A strong analytical mindset
• Outstanding organisational skills 
• Collaboration, Teamwork, Commercial awareness
