Part Time Operator/Inspector

Masker / Operator Inspector – Night Shift
Location: Cardiff
Shift Pattern: 2 days per week Twilight 4.00pm to 2.00am
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in prep and finishing work? We are currently seeking a Masker / Operator Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team in Cardiff on a night shift basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing components for the production and finishing process
• Accurately masking parts with tape in readiness for painting
• Loading and unloading components, including manual handling tasks
• Conducting visual inspections and using alignment gauges to ensure quality standards
• Performing hand filing when required
• Cleaning components before final inspection

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in preparation and polish work within a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in sanding, masking, priming, and polishing techniques
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes
• Strong team player with a proactive and reliable attitude
• Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
