Production Operative (semi skilled)

Cardiff

£14.66 per hour

Night shift – Monday to Thursday 10:30pm to 8:30am

The role of the Production Operator is to ensure that work is prepared, processed and inspected in accordance with requirements. The role will include a variety of tasks from preparation operations to the operation of various surface treatment processes. It will also involve the inspection of work in accordance with specified standards and requirements.

 Responsibilities –

• Ensure the careful handling and movement of components throughout the production process to ensure no damage occurs
• Ensure all process and production documentation is completed accurately
• Prepare components as instructed prior to processing
• Unmask production parts
• Clean components as necessary using specified materials

Knowledge and skills –

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
• Efficient and effective working – managing time to prioritise production deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
