Our client, a well-established and growing precision engineering company, based in Stonehouse, has an exciting new opportunity for a Stores Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis due to business growth and increased demand. The successful Stores Assistant should have:

• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Basic computer and Excel skills
• A reliable and positive attitude
• A practical and hands-on approach to work
• A willingness to learn and develop

In this role, the Stores Assistant will be responsible for:

• Distributing products and materials to the production line, including lifting up to 25kg
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring materials are available when required
• Checking deliveries and updating delivery and tracking information
• Maintaining accurate stock records and spreadsheets
• Supporting the wider team with general stores, stock, logistics and administration duties

Our client is offering the successful Stores Assistant a salary of £28,000 per annum, plus benefits including free on-site parking, 20 days holiday + paid Christmas break, annual company Christmas trip, full training, pension and excellent onsite facilities.
