A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Assistant Management accountant to join a thriving business. The Assistant Management accountant will oversee preparing the monthly management accounts, which will also include weekly and monthly reporting.

The role

• Preparing and producing the management accounts including accruals, prepayments and analysis
• Reviewing indirect cost centres by examining the budget and, where necessary, reporting on discrepancies
• Weekly P&L report
• Weekly bank reconciliations
• Analysis of payments
• Improve the reporting, generating ideas for efficiencies within the department

The person

• Proven experience within a similar finance or senior accounts assistant position.
• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified, or part qualified accountant/studying towards qualifications.

• Someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is highly accurate.
• Excellent attention to detail is a must.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge within a management accounting role is desirable.
