Multiskilled Mainteance Engineer

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days Only)
Location: Cheltenham

Main Responsibilities and Challenges:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide mechanical maintenance and facilities services to a site with industrial and commercial process areas.

Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth operation of plant and machinery while contributing to ongoing engineering projects.

Key Duties:

• Analyse and repair faults on plant and machinery, identifying the root cause and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and actions on plant and machinery.
• Carry out machine servicing as per the maintenance schedule.
• Install, remove, and relocate equipment and machines as needed.
• Maintain factory and office working areas to a high standard.
• Support engineering projects and contribute to team efforts beyond individual tasks.
• Ensure health, safety, and welfare of yourself and colleagues in accordance with group and local EHS procedures.
• Perform other duties required to support the achievement of company objectives.

Background and Personal Qualities:

• Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, with expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Power press experience is essential.
• Qualifications:
  • Minimum ONC qualified or time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance.
  • City and Guilds 2381 & 2391 and 18th Edition are desirable but not essential.
