Industrial Door Engineer

Our client, a well-established company within the industrial door and loading bay industry, has an exciting new opportunity for an Industrial Door Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis due to continued business growth with work along the M5 between Bristol and Birmingham.

The successful Industrial Door Engineer should have:

• Proven experience installing Rapid Roll doors.
• Strong electrical installation and fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial door systems.
• The ability to work independently and lead site installations.
• A full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card, FLT and IPAF.

In this role, the Industrial Door Engineer will be responsible for:

• Installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors and loading bay equipment.
• Commissioning industrial door systems and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Leading site installations and ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), site surveys, audits, and service documentation.
• Identifying additional work opportunities while providing excellent customer service and technical support.

Our client is offering the successful Industrial Door Engineer a salary in the region of 18.00+ per hour based on 40 hours a week, depending on experience, plus benefits including a company vehicle, ongoing training and development, company tools, and holiday entitlement. Overtime is also available and paid at a higher rate.
