Accounts Receivable Assistant – IMMEDIATE START

Cheltenham

£13.50-15 ph

Temporary 3-6 months+

Seeking Accounts receivable Assistant to join a national company based outside Cheltenham. This is initially for 3-6 months with potential to become permanent and would suit an experienced credit controller/accounts/ finance professional.

Responsibilities:

• Processing sales invoices and allocating payments
• Responsible for processing sales invoices accurately in line with the schedule
• Raise credit notes and update ledgers
• Maintain accurate records of all the accounts receivable transactions
• Communicate with other departments for updates and resolve potential billing issues
• Filing of all monthly invoices/applications and cash receipts 
• Any adhoc duties as required.

The Person

• Previous experience within an accounts receivable or relevant finance position,
• An enthusiastic approach to work
• Be AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience with accounting systems with proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent numerical ability
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
