Are you highly organised, people-focused, and looking to make a meaningful impact in a short-term role? We’re looking for a Team Administrator to join our team on a 2-month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to vital community services while gaining valuable experience within a council environment.
As a key part of the team, you will:
Provide full administrative support including data entry, diary management, filing, scanning, archiving, and handling telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
Ensure essential processes and records meet council and statutory requirements.
Create and maintain accurate documents and reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other systems.
Support Adult Social Care staff by coordinating administrative tasks that help deliver frontline services quickly and efficiently.
Greet visitors and manage reception duties, including opening the building when required.
Assist with premises management and support a safe, functional working environment.
Arrange and support meetings, including taking accurate and confidential minutes for sensitive sessions like Safeguarding or Best Interest meetings.
Handle customer enquiries and support responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
Provide flexible support across the service, including cover for roles such as Referral Taker when needed.
