RE Recruitment’s hospitality division are in search of a Catering Assistant for a permanent position with one of the fastest growing Fintech companies in the UK. You will be responsible for: 

• Supporting the development of the catering services, which is consistent with all current food hygiene, health and safety regulations;
• Ensuring a smooth link to back of house. Making sure front of house is immaculate, the needs of customers are fed in correctly to back of house and back of house requirements are learned daily to ensure no confusion and best outcome for the customer is delivered.
• Ensuring the food in the main restaurant goes out at the right temperature, with the right presentation and the right proportions, working in cafeteria as required, providing prepared food as requested
• Providing cover to the back of house, supporting the chefs as and when appropriate.
• Assisting with stock monitoring, ordering and storage and catering waste managements.

Must have’s for working as a Catering Assistant with our client:

• Evidence of delivering a first-class customer service striving to ensure successful resolution of any customer’s issues;
• Possess excellent communication skills, you will take pride in your work and that of your colleagues, and always act in a respectful, friendly and courteous manner;
• Have commercial awareness, and you’ll demonstrate that you can promote and up-sell products on offer;
• Barista training to a high standard will be desirable;
• An understanding of food hygiene and willingness to learn new skills, including basic food preparation.
