Chef de Partie / Junior Sous
£14.35 per hour
£24,000 – £28,000
5 days (37.5 hrs) a week
Wednesday to Sunday
Wednesday to Saturday with either Monday or Tuesday off
PERMANENT – due to the rural location it is advised to have either a bike or your own transport to apply
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie with professional kitchen experience, culinary knowledge, food safety, hygiene, and fast-paced work skills is sought. You will have previous experience at this level and looking for your next progression toward a sous chef level.
The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, multitasking, communication, leadership, creativity, teamwork, quick learning of new recipes, efficient time management, and flexibility with working hours.
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a specific kitchen section and contributing to the culinary team’s success.
The food preparation process will involve setting up the kitchen, ensuring supplies are adequate, preparing frequently available ingredients, and cooking dishes according to standard recipes and the station management involves overseeing designated kitchen sections, coordinating with other chefs, and ensuring smooth operations.
In addition to contributing to the overall success of the culinary team and managing a particular kitchen area, you will be also accountable for providing the necessary support to the kitchen crew.
