Our Hereford-based client is in search of a SHEQ coordinator to help their business make sure their production procedures and products adhere to industry and customer requirements for quality and safety.

Maintaining safety and quality systems, confirming that products adhere to internal and external standards, and consistently raising production standards are the principal tasks and responsibilities.

The role also involves:

• making sure the product complies with regulations through frequent testing and evaluations
• evaluation of manufacturing data,
• suggestions for improvements,
• assistance with incident investigations for the manufacturing team,
• creation and review of work instructions, quality plans, and safe systems of work,
• statistical data reports,
• encouragement of a positive culture of quality and HSE
• daily communication with the manufacturing team.

Requirements:

• Qualified to IOSH managing safety or NEBOSH certification preferred.
• Problem-solving skills.
• ISO 9001 auditor training preferred.
• Quality management and systems experience.
• Knowledge of lean six sigma and 5s implementation.
• Microsoft office proficiency.
• Previous experience in continuous manufacturing environment.
