Position: Purchase Ledger

Salary: Up to £28,000

Location: Tewkesbury

As a Purchase Ledger, you will play a crucial part in processing payments, bank reconciliations and other functions. You will have strong numerical skills and high attention to detail. Working in the office in Tewkesbury Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00 this is a great opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices.
• Managing and scheduling supplier payments according to agreed terms.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations.
• Assist with daily bank reconciliations ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts.
• Process various types of financial transactions including bank transfers receipts and disbursements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service via phone and email.
• Implement process improvements.
• Providing general support to the Sales and Purchase ledger teams.

Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger or Treasury Assistant.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong accounting principals and practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
