An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Office Manager to join an established and growing team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations for our client based in Stroud. Being a small business, the role is highly varied, from logistics and shipping, bookkeeping and procurement to invoicing and client liaison.
- Being first point of contact for the office and overseeing all administration
- Manage financial administration, oversee, update and monitor Xero accounting software
- Organise propeller shipments / collections
- Support the MD with quotations, workshop paperwork, certification paperwork and keeping compliance paperwork up to date
- Update website with new images / copy as necessary
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative, secretarial, or sales support role
- Good working knowledge of Xero or an equivalent accounting software – bookkeeping and accounts administration experience an advantage.
- Ability to understand, follow, and improve internal policies and procedures
- Highly organised, thorough and excellent attention to detail
- Great communicator and a confident, pleasant and professional telephone and email manner
- The ability to plan and organise own workload
- Ability to work productively under own initiative and as part of a small team
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a can-do attitude
- Good general knowledge of IT including Apple Mac systems
