FLT Driver

Counterbalance/Reach Truck Driver – Rotating Day shift (Morn/Afternoon)

Either or both licences preferred. 

Pay rate – £14.86 – £16.26p/h (depending on experience)

RE Recruitment are looking for experienced Warehouse Operative to join an established team in their National Distribution Centre near Worcester.

Successful applicants will have previous warehouse experience, but training will be provided.

Our client’s premises offers a “high-tech” and new age environment with a careful balance of automation Vs. manual tasks that follows the evolution of modern-day warehousing. Accompanied by a fantastic rest area/kitchen facility, pool table and vending machines and free on-site parking.

Job role

• Main duties include:
• movement of palletised goods for Goods In/Out
•  building/breaking down pallets of products to order
• printing pick notes/labels for despatch
• some basic use of IT
• Reach Truck usage to move larger/bulky items.
• Counterbalance/combi lift experience beneficial, to aid the building and movement of smaller paletised goods. 

• Previous Warehouse experience is a must, but training will be provided.
• Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence required.
• New FLT passes considered – Inhouse Refresher training/assessment will be provided upon start
• Good attention to detail
• Manual handling/ H&S adherence
• Clean environment, Excellent facilities.

Working hours are (weekly rotation of early/late shift):

Early Shift

Monday – Thursday 06.00 – 14.00

Friday – 06.00 – 13.30

Late Shift

Monday – Thursday 14.00 – 22.00

Friday – 13.30 – 21.00

37 hours per week
